Living Above The Noise, Part 2

Excerpt from part 1
We can have understanding in these dark days from God’s word in our hearts and minds.  If you have read to this point then no doubt you agree with us (and more importantly, God’s word) that there is a deep darkness which is tangible in these last days of the age of Grace. You may now be hungry to grasp hold of being truly able to live above the noise. [This post ] will show how standing firm in the Lord brings us to a place of spiritual light…. A place where we can live above the noise of this chaotic world. We’re not talking about spiritual battle here because the battle is the Lord’s. We are standing firm in our authority through Jesus to be more than overcomers!

Living above the noise means living in this world without being a part of this world. It means living in spiritual light and not in spiritual darkness. Remember, Jesus acknowledged that we are in this world. In other words, we are stuck here, for now. But we are not of this world, which means there is something that is a part of us that supersedes the natural, physical elements of this earth. That ‘something’ is the Holy Spirit in us. The Holy Spirit is the vessel, if you will, that creates a bridge in us between earth (this world) and heaven (not this world). Jesus gave us the Holy Spirit so we could live above the noise!

 John 16:13 "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.”  It is the Holy Spirit that guides us to all truth. We know that truth is wisdom, but it is also “light”.
Consider this verse from Daniel 5:14 "Now I have heard about you that a spirit of the gods is in you, and that illumination, insight and extraordinary wisdom have been found in you.”

Even before humans had access to the Holy Spirit through their own free will choice, some understood that God’s Spirit gave light. (illumination)
By now you may be asking, how do I live above the noise and know that I am living in God’s light?” Hang on it’s coming. Let’s take a look at Job 38:19 where he asks, “Where is the way to the dwelling of light? And darkness, where is its place,” He wanted to know, where does light live and where does darkness dwell? Perhaps an even more profound example of this passage comes from The Message Bible where it reads “Do you know where Light comes from and where Darkness lives So you can take them by the hand and lead them home when they get lost? Why, of course you know that. You’ve known them all your life, grown up in the same neighborhood with them!” Yes, you’ve known about spiritual light and spiritual darkness all your life! As a created child of God, knowing the way to light and the dwelling of darkness is part of your DNA. However, as worldly humans, we either choose or gravitate towards one or the other.

Let’s review this verse again:  Job 38:19 (KJV) Where is the way where light dwelleth? and as for darkness, where is the place thereof,
“This question, put to Job by the Lord, is beyond human reason, but is very nature reveals a great truth.  As Job is addressed, light is spoken of as having a “way,” or pathway, suggesting movement.  Darkness on the other hand, seems confined to a place.”
“Ultimately, it can be said that the most valuable commodity in God’s universe is light.  Where there is light, there is life.  If light is withheld, sooner or later, life will cease to exist.”
In the beginning, God said in Genesis 1:3-5 (KJV) And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.
“The light called into existence by God, and called by Him “good,” is seen well before the creation of the Sun, Moon, planets and stars on the fourth day of creation.  Where did this light come from? ….it seems to be the very material of creation.  Apparently, it is a creative energy; a force that may be used to forge particles that fit together as atoms, molecules, and finally of the created beings, man, animals, the Earth, planets and stars.”

“Satan typifies and personifies darkness.  We tend to think of darkness as a quality produced by the absence of light.  And so, it is, but perhaps it is also the baleful presence of a darkening personality.  Among mankind, those who follow the rulers of darkness falsely corrupt the true Light of the Gospel, substituting a false light that seems real, but is in fact the very essence of darkness.”
[Quotes from: “The Light of the World,” by Gary Stearman, (Prophecy Watcher magazine March 2019, page 5, 6, 7)]

WE CAN LIVE ABOVE THE NOISE and the darkness of this world by “putting on the armor of light.”
Romans 13:12 (AMP)
The night [this present evil age] is almost gone and the day [of Christ’s return] is almost here. So let us fling away the works of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light.

Armor is the Greek word, hoplon, which means an implement, a tool, an offensive weapon for war. Light is the Greek word, phos, which is light, fire, or luminousness, manifested by rays.  When we “put on” the “armor of light” we acknowledge (in our minds) that wherever we go, we manifest LIGHT which dispels darkness, and darkness cannot exist with light!

The “whole armor of God” in Ephesians 6 is another “spiritual armor” that keeps darkness away from us. Ephesians 6:12-13 (NKJV) For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

The truth is: we have been “delivered from the power of darkness,” through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice on the cross.  He redeemed us from the hand of the enemy, by His shed blood. (Psalm 107:2) We are now “qualified” to be a part of the saints in the LIGHT, which is our eternal inheritance.  Our “location” has changed:  we are NOW seated together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.” (Ephesians 2:6)

Colossians 1:12-14 (NKJV) giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.

Elohim, God, created the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.  But men have free will to choose to believe these truths in the Word of God or not to believe them.
Isaiah 45:7 (JUB) I form the light and create darkness; I make peace and create evil: I am the LORD that does all this.
Isaiah 5:20 (AMP)
Woe (judgment is coming) to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness;
Who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!

John 3:19 (NKJV) And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
When we choose to make Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 10:9-10), WE CAN BELIEVE the truths in the Word of God.  WE CAN “put on the whole armor of God” and arm our minds with the “armor of light.”  The “evil that is screaming in the darkness” CANNOT harm or touch us.  We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us! (Romans 8:37)
