Things To Come

 

Hello Friends. We know we haven’t written a blog post in quite some time. There is a reason for that, which we will explain. But rest assured, the Lord has been revealing much to us and it is time to share our thoughts and new knowledge through the lens of scripture and with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Prior to 2020, while in worship one evening, Sarah clearly heard the Lord say, “The enemy will try to bring destruction before the appointed time.” Now, this happened before covid, before riots, before bogus impeachment trials, and before the general chaos that has sadly become commonplace in our present day. Then one day very shortly after the covid19 lockdowns began, Sarah and Joanne were praying together, and once again the Lord very clearly communicated, “The enemy is trying to bring destruction before the appointed time.” It was then that they both realized that the covid “pandemic” was not what it appeared to be but it was still much too early to sort out the truth. It was a time of great confusion and disorientation. It has taken a full two years of prayer, interacting with other Christians who were also awakening to the truth, and even our own difficult research to grasp the realities of the world in which we find ourselves living. The Lord had us in a bit of a holding pattern during this time as we dug into His Word and listened to His voice. One thing is quite clear, the chaos of today is NOT the Tribulation period, but rather, it is a foreshadowing of what will come. The good news is that God is not done with us. It is His will that many more will be saved through the loving grace of Jesus Christ and that revival and restoration can be expected. No, we aren’t talking about “Kingdom Now” theology because we sense this period of restoration will be short-lived before the antichrist rises and a true period of Tribulation begins. However, it appears clear to us that the Restrainer (the Holy Spirit in our world and in us) is at work. He is holding back the tremendous evil that will be unleashed at the very end of this present age. It will occur at God’s appointed time. Good news, if you are in Jesus, you will be spared from the wrath to come.

1 Thessalonians 1:10 … and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus who delivers us from the wrath to come. (NKJV)

Our focus now is to share what we have learned about this current time of awakening.
